-
This information is processed in a secure manner, is held, used and disclosed by us in accordance with applicable laws or in the performance of the provision of our service as a recruitment business (for example, after having discussed the role with you, this may include sending your data to a potential client), or as expressly advised by you.
-
As an example of reasons for processing your data, this will include things like:
-
to provide our professional services to you;

CURRICULUM VITAE "CV"
There is a page on our site that will allow you to submit your CV. You can of course still submit your CV to us directly by email, which can be done either by applying for a specific job that you have seen advertised by us via social media or for the purposes of registering your details with us for future roles. Your CV will be stored in the Pixelated People database, and it will only be accessible by Pixelated People recruiters (who are under strict obligations of confidentiality). And since we are a UK company, your details will not be used outside of the EU without having made certain that sufficient safeguards are in place (for example, where a client has a head office in the United States, we will ensure that there are adequate safeguards in place that afford similar protections as if it were transferred to a company within the EU). You have the option to update your CV at any time, simply by following the same procedure to submit a new CV. Upon receipt and storage of your new CV, your old CV will be deleted.
DURATION OF DATA STORAGE
How long we keep data is driven by our relationship with you. For example, from an accounting point of view, we will store financial data, payments records, invoice details, etc. for a period of up to 7 years unless, in the unlikely event, there are mitigating circumstances that allow us to keep data for longer. Also, for legitimate business reasons we will retain data for a reasonable period of time where we may need to contact you in the future or where we need to comply with a particular client obligation or piece of legislation.
The reasonable period of time is, broadly speaking dependant on your individual circumstances. For example, for Contractors (i.e. individuals that we primarily intend to place into engagements on a temporary basis) and Candidates (i.e. individuals that we primarily intend to place into permanent employment at a client), we would need to retain basic contact information together with a summary of your skills and experiences (which will most likely be in the form of your CV) for a period of 2 years after last contact.
In the situation where you are a Contractor and we have a contractual relationship for your services, we would ordinarily keep your contact details for the duration of the contract and such reasonable period after expiry. In cases, where there is greater sensitivity in the data supplied to us such as financial documentation, background details and right to work information, we will only hold such information for the duration of your contract and for a period of 2 years after expiry of your contract.
DATA ACCESS
You have the right at any time to ask us for a copy of the information supplied by you that we have stored. We may ask you to verify your identity and for more information about your request in order to be able to better respond to the request. Where we are legally permitted to do so, we may refuse your request and will give you reasons for doing so.
If you would like to make a request for information, please contact gdpr@pixelatedpeople.com You also have the right to ask Pixelated People to stop using your information. However, if this involves a request for deletion of your file, please be aware that we may not be required or able to do so, particularly where your file also holds information about our clients or financial information that we need to keep for periods of up to six years, i.e. that relate to tax matters. Where we are unable to comply with your request we will provide reasons.
CHANGES TO OUR POLICY
This privacy policy may be changed by Pixelated People at any time. If we change our privacy policy in the future, we will advise you of changes or updates to our privacy policy by a prominent notice on our website. Continued use of this website or our services after such changes will constitute your acceptance of such changes.
